Events and Meetings
For the solitary beekeeper fellowship is sweet
We have an active program of summer and winter activities which all members are very welcome to be a part of. In the summer we have apiary visits to association member's hives and to the association hives. These are generally held on the last Sunday of each month. Members will get details of when, where and how to get there in the newsletter. Remember to stay for the excellent cakes when on offer. In the winter we meet up once a month usually on a Tuesday in Dunblane Cathedral Halls where we have the pleasure of hearing from speakers on a wide range of bee keeping topics. Throughout the year we also have special events; including a honey picnic, an association dinner and a summer outing. If you would like to take part in any activities or come along for a taster session please contact Peter Hunt for more details. |
“If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe then man would only have four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man.” ~ Albert Einstein
